Junior High and High School are not free or readily available to many in Guatemala. The rural villagers we support must travel to distant towns in order to study – and pay tuition as well as room and board. This makes the cost of school prohibitive for many.

Those that do get the opportunity to study must spend most of the year away from their families – in a place where they know few if any people. Where they are away from the guidance and support of their parents and families
